Job Title: Finance and Accounting Manager

SGX Power Hub is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to lead financial operations and ensure efficient and transparent financial reporting for our charging and battery swapping station projects.

This role will be responsible for managing budgeting, accounting processes, financial planning, audits, and compliance, contributing to the financial success and sustainability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Oversee the preparation and management of budgets for charging and swapping station projects.
    • Provide financial forecasts, reports, and variance analysis to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
    • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Project Finance:
    • Track and report on the financial performance of individual projects, ensuring they are within budget and maximizing ROI.
    • Provide financial input on project feasibility, financing options, and potential cost reductions.
    • Collaborate with the project management team to develop financial models for new projects.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
    • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations and project investments.
    • Optimize working capital and recommend improvements in payment and invoicing processes.
  • Compliance & Audit:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring financial processes align with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
    • Maintain adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Cost Management & Optimization:
    • Analyze and control operational expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
    • Implement cost-tracking systems across charging and swapping stations, ensuring expenses align with budgets.
  • Team Management & Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing professional development opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in financial management.
  • Financial Systems & Technology:
    • Oversee the implementation and improvement of financial systems and accounting software.
    • Ensure that technology systems align with financial reporting requirements and operational needs.
    • Maintain data integrity and security of financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related role, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or capital-intensive industries.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit processes.
  • Proven experience managing financial operations for large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
