Job Title: Senior Manager – Charging & Swapping Station Operations

SGX Power Hub is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead the planning, installation, and operation of our charging and battery swapping stations for electric mobility solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, strategic development, and operational efficiency to ensure that SGX Power Hub becomes a leader in sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute strategies for the installation and operation of charging and battery swapping stations.
    • Provide leadership in planning the geographic rollout of stations to optimize coverage and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including city planners, utility companies, and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of charging and swapping stations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Oversee contractor selection and manage relationships with engineering, construction, and technology vendors.
    • Ensure stations meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • Operational Management:
    • Develop and manage operational processes for the smooth functioning of the stations.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of the charging and swapping networks, ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Implement systems to track usage, performance, and energy consumption.
    • Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all equipment.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage the operational budget for station planning and installation, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment.
    • Analyze financial data to drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
  • Team Management & Development:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and operations staff to ensure effective operation and maintenance of stations.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on growth and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure stations meet customer needs and provide a seamless user experience.
    • Address customer concerns and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and local government policies.
    • Lead risk assessments and ensure the implementation of safety measures across all operational sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in energy infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of EV charging technology, energy systems, and battery swapping solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and financial acumen.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to electric mobility infrastructure.
